Local Toys and Games

Village Games

Camden Lock, 65 The West Yd, Camden Town, London NW1 8AF, UK – 020 7485 0653

Lovely little toy store, with almost any board game you can think of from your childhood available inside!! They also have a lot of modern games, and the girl that works there is really helpful and attentive. She knows her games and will help you find just what you need, whether you know what you´re after or just go in for a little browse. Definitely worth a visit if you´re a game enthusiast about Camden!!

I live in Manchester and going London was a great opportunity to take pictures of the place as it is not very known. The store has some twisty puzzles, normal puzzles and table games that look amazing to the sight and I strongly recommend people who like to collect, play and solve these kind of puzzles (mostly Cubers) to go and visit this store because it has a large variety of these to offer. In my opinion the best puzzle store in England.

Disney Store Oxford Street

350-352 Oxford St, London W1C 1JH, UK – 020 7491 9136

It was impossible to walk past this store with my kids....they pulled me in and it was nice to see their little faces light up every time they saw something they liked. There were toys, clothes and accessories from their favourite Disney movies as well as statues of characters which they had to take pictures with. We spent about 20 minutes in the store and left after I promised to bring them back closer to their birthdays to get some toys. They haven't stopped talking about how exciting the store was. Very much worth visiting.

Considering it's the largest Disney Store in Europe, I've never really found the Disney Store on Oxford Street to be too overcrowded. The opening hours are brilliant, and the staff are always really friendly whenever I go in there. Of course, they have a wonderful selection of Disney merchandise and other accessories too. The Nightmare Before Christmas ranges between Halloween and Christmas are always enough to make me smile!

Build-A-Bear Workshop

188-196, Hamleys, Regent St, Soho, London W1B 5BT, UK – 020 7494 9578

Located inside Hamley's, which is a child's dream come true, we found a Build a bear workshop. The staff was really helpful, playful, and sweet. We built a Toothless, and an Eevee. It was an amazing experience. I recommend it to both adults who love cute stuff, and also to anyone traveling with kids.

nothing gives me greater enjoyment than stuffing some white fluff up a Bears bum hole, I recommend this to anyone who hasnt given this a go, its a great crack
